The Egyptian delegation, headed by Engineer Ibrahim Mekki, Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), concluded an official visit to Tianjin, China. The delegation held a series of strategic meetings with leaders of the Chinese company TCC, as part of strengthening industrial cooperation and accelerating the implementation of several major joint projects.

During the meetings, Engineer Ibrahim Mekki and the accompanying delegation discussed ways to expedite the implementation of the three general contractor contracts signed this year with TCC. These contracts, valued at approximately $1 billion, include soda ash, metal silicon, and bioethanol projects. This was highlighted in light of the strategic importance of these projects in supporting local manufacturing, localizing technology, and reducing reliance on imports.

The need to compress the timeline for all projects was emphasized, with a commitment to submit updated timelines to the holding company as soon as possible to ensure the acceleration of implementation phases in accordance with the highest international standards.

As part of enhancing technical and administrative coordination, it was agreed to hold periodic follow-up meetings with CNCEC and TCC to review the timelines for all joint projects and proactively address any potential obstacles to ensure the achievement of desired goals.

On the sidelines of the visit, a meeting was held with representatives of the Chinese Xingfa Group, as part of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company’s efforts to support foreign direct investment and achieve industrial integration in the fields of phosphorus, silicon, and silicones.

During the meeting, the group emphasized that Egypt represents a strategic focus for its expansion plans, praising the El Alamein region’s geographical advantages, advanced infrastructure, and availability of raw materials.

في خطوة جديدة تعكس عمق الشراكة الاستراتيجية المتنامية بين مصر والصين في قطاع البتروكيماويات، شهدت العاصمة الصينية بكين توقيع اتفاق إطار غير ملزم بين شركة البحر الأحمر الوطنية للبتروكيماويات وشركة الصين الوطنية للهندسة الكيميائية (CNCEC)، وذلك لتنفيذ مشروع البحر الأحمر للبتروكيماويات بالمنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس.

وجرى توقيع الاتفاق في مقر CNCEC بحضور وفد رفيع المستوى من الجانبين المصري والصيني، تأكيدًا على الأهمية الاستراتيجية للمشروع الذي يُعد أحد أبرز مشروعات مصر المستقبلية في قطاع الصناعات الكيماوية.
وخلال كلمته ، أعرب المهندس إبراهيم عبد القادر مكي، رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرية القابضة للبتروكيماويات (إيكم)، عن تقديره لحفاوة الاستقبال الصينية، مشيرًا إلى أن الاتفاق يمثل محطة فارقة على طريق تنفيذ مشروع واعد يعزز من قدرة مصر التصديرية ويخلق فرصًا تنموية واسعة.
وأكد مكي أن CNCEC أبدت استعدادها للمساهمة المحتملة في رأس مال المشروع، إلى جانب إمكانية دعمها في ترتيب تمويل يغطي ما يصل إلى 85% من قيمة عقد المقاولة الهندسية والمشتريات والإنشاءات (EPC).

وقد شهدت الفعالية حضور ممثلين عن عدد من أبرز المؤسسات التمويلية الصينية، منها بنك الصين، وبنك التصدير والاستيراد الصيني، وشركة Sinosure لتأمين الصادرات، في إشارة إلى تنامي الثقة الدولية في مستقبل قطاع البتروكيماويات المصري.

وضم الوفد المصري عددًا من كبار المسؤولين، من بينهم السفير خالد نظمي، سفير مصر لدى الصين، والسيدة رشا رمضان، نائب رئيس إيكم للشؤون المالية والاقتصادية، والسيد محمد السعداوي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة البحر الأحمر للبتروكيماويات، وعدد من المستشارين والخبراء المعنيين بالمشروع.
كما شارك من الجانب الصيني قيادات بارزة في CNCEC ومجموعة شركاتها التابعة.

وأوضح مكي أن مشروع البحر الأحمر يتمتع بمزايا تنافسية كبيرة، أبرزها موقعه الاستراتيجي قرب قناة السويس، وتوافر رخص الوحدات الإنتاجية، فضلاً عن جاهزية خطته التنفيذية، مما يمنحه قوة جذب استثمارية عالية خاصة في ظل الطلب العالمي المتزايد على منتجات مثل البولي إيثيلين والبولي بروبيلين.

وأضاف أن التعاون مع CNCEC يشهد تطورًا متسارعًا، حيث تم خلال العام الجاري توقيع ثلاث عقود رئيسية مع شركة TCC التابعة للمجموعة الصينية بقيمة تقارب مليار دولار، وتشمل مشاريع إنتاج الصودا آش، والسيليكون المعدني، والإيثانول الحيوي، في إطار جهود مصر لتقليل الاعتماد على الواردات وتوطين الصناعات الاستراتيجية.

واختتم مكي كلمته قائلاً:
“ما شهدناه اليوم ليس إلا بداية للعمل معا بثقة وطموح لبناء مستقبل مشترك من النجاح والتميز.”

وخلال اليوم الثاني من المؤتمر الدولي لتقنية البترول الخامس (ايجبس 2022)، شهد سعادة المهندس طارق الملا وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية توقيع اتفاقيات مشتركة بين قطاع البترول ومجموعة أرامكو السعودية والتي تعتبر جزء من تنفيذ مراحل إنشاء مجمع البتروكيماويات في منطقة مركز قناة السويس.
المهندس محمد عبادي رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة البحر الأحمر الوطنية للبتروكيماويات والمهندس محمد يميني القحطاني رئس شركة أرامكو السعودية للتجارة.
شملت الاتفاقيات والعقود الموقعة العديد من المجالات الأساسية بغرض تسريع تنفيذ المجمع الضخم وتأتي في المقام الأول اتفاقية مبادئ توريد المواد الأولية بالتعاون مع شركة أرامكو السعودية للتجارة الشركة الأولى والرائدة عالميًا في مجال توريد المواد الخام.
وبتوقيع هذه الاتفاقية، تضمن شركة البحر الأحمر احتياجاتها المواد الخام العربية الخفيفة للغاية نظرًا لجودتها وتوافقها مع تصميم مجمع البتروكيماويات وخبرة أرامكو الكبيرة والتزامها.
ويعتبر التعاون بين قطاع البترول وأرامكو السعودية تتويجًا للعلاقة وتمديدًا للعلاقات التاريخية العريقة بين مصر وقيادة المملكة والأشخاص الداعمين للعلاقات الأكثر نجاحًا في قطاع البترول والغاز.
ويتضمن نطاق العقد المبرم بين هيئة البترول ولوبريف السعودية استيراد النفط اللازم.
وعلى الجانب الآخر، فإن العقد المبرم لاستيراد النفط اللازم فيما بين الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول ولوبريف السعودية يسهم في احتياجات السوق المصري الداخلي.
ولقد وقع الجيولوجي علاء البطل رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة البترول والمهندس طارق النعيم رئيس لوبريف بحضور المحاسب خالد عثمان ونائب رئيس هيئة النفط للتجارة الداخلية ورئيس التجارة الخارجية والمحاسبات والمحاسبة هبة عبد القادر مساعدة رئيس هيئة النفط للتجارة الخارجية.

يعتبر ايجبس أحد أهم الفاعليات في صناعة البترول وتصبح العديد من شركات القطاعات المختلفة “التكنولوجيا والخدمات والتكرير” مهتمة بحضور هذه المناسبة لتوقيع عقود المشروعات الكبرى مثل شركة البحر الأحمر الوطنية للبتروكيماويات في مصر.
أعرب وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية طارق الملا أهمية الفاعليات لهذا العام ومدى أهميته علمًا بأن الفترة الحالية تستلزم التنسيق المصري والتواصل مع جميع الأطراف الإقليميين والعالميين.
وأكد على ضرورة اتخاذ الإجراءات الاحترازية ضد جائحة كورونا بكفاءة ودقة مثلما حدث في كافة الأحداث الإقليمية والدولية السابقة بالمنطقة وذلك حفاظًا على سلامة المشاركين.
شهد المؤتمر 26,000 مشارك من مختلف الدول و25 شركة بترول عالمية محلية و73 حلقة نقاش و260 متحدث وأكثر من 1,900 ممثل للشركات وأكثر من 450 شركة عارضة و7 أجنحة عالمية في المعرض.
أتاح المؤتمر الفرصة لإبرام العديد من الاتفاقيات وتوقيعها فيما بين العديد من صناعات الوقود والصناعات التكنولوجية المتعددة والتي تعتبر فرصة استثنائية لشركة البحر الأحمر لتوقيع جميع الاتفاقيات والحصول على جميع التراخيص اللازمة لبدء هذا المشروع في موقع شركة التطوير الأساسية الجغرافي داخل المنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس.
أُقيت فاعليات المؤتمر من 14 إلى 16 فبراير 2022 وكانت أهم ثلاث اتفاقيات أبرمتها شركة البحر الأحمر الوطنية للبتروكيماويات أحد أهم موضوعات ايجبس.
– اتفاقية ترخيص وحدة متعدد الإيثيلين مع يوني فيجن
– توقيع اتفاقية ترخيص وحدة تكسير البخار فيما بين شركة البحر الأحمر وليندي
– توقيع اتفاقية ترخيص هيكسن والبوتين مع أكسنز الفرنسية

EGYPS is considered to be one of the most important events in the petroleum industry, a lot of different sectors companies “Technology, Services, Refining” companies become very interested in attending this event to sign contracts in mega projects such as Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co. in Egypt.

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek Al-Molla marked the importance of that the current version of the EGYPS Conference of how important in view of the fact that the current period required Egypt’s coordination and communication with all regional and international parties. 

He stressed that precautionary measures against the Corona pandemic would be applied as effectively and accurately as all recent successful regional and international events in the region to preserve the safety of participants.

The Conference witnessed the participation of 26,000 participants from different countries, 25 international and local oil companies, 73 panel discussions, 260 speakers, more than 1,900 representatives of companies, more than 450 exhibiting companies and 7 international pavilions in the exhibition.

This conference opens the door for multiple agreements and signings between several oil and technology industries which was a remarkable opportunity for Red Sea Co. to sign all the agreements, and get all the licenses needed to launch this project in the geographical space of the Main Development Company of the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

The conference took place from the 14th to the 16th of February 2022 and three main agreements were the main highlights of EGYPS for Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co.: 
– Polyethylene unit licensing agreement with Univision, 
– The signing of the steam fracking unit licensing agreement by Red Sea Co. with Linde
– Signed the Hexen and Biotin licensing agreement with the French Axens.

All three agreements were signed by Engineer Mohamed Abady, CEO of Red Sea Co. with the heads of the three companies.

During the second day of Egypt’s fifth International Petroleum Conference and Exposition (EGYPS 2022), his excellency engineer Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, witnessed the signing of joint agreements between the petroleum sector and the Saudi Aramco Group, which are part of the implementation of the phases of the construction of the petrochemical complex in the Suez Canal hub area.

Engineer Mohamed Abady, CEO of Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co., and Engineer Mohamed Yemani Al Qahtani, President of the Saudi Aramco Trading Company.

The agreements and contracts signed include several key areas for accelerating the implementation of this mega-complex, primarily the Agreement of Principles for the Supply of Crude with the Saudi Aramco Trading Company, which is the first and the world leader in the supply of ore.

This will ensure Red Sea Co.’s needs for very light Arab ore for its quality and relevance to the design of the petrochemical complex and Aramco’s long experience and commitment.

Cooperation between the petroleum sector and Saudi Aramco is a culmination and extension of the long-established historical relations between Egypt and the Kingdom’s leadership and people that underpin more successful partnerships in the petroleum and gas sector.

The signing of a contract for the import of essential oils between the Petroleum Authority and Saudi Arabia Luberef.

On the other hand, a contract for the import of essential oils was signed between the Egyptian General Petroleum Authority and Saudi Luberef, which contributes to the needs of the Egyptian domestic market.

Geological Alaa Al-Batal, CEO of the Petroleum Authority, and engineer Tariq Al-Na’im, President of Luberef, were signed in the presence of accountant Khalid Osman, Vice-Chairman of the Oil Authority for Internal Trade, and Superintendent of Foreign Trade and Accounting, and the Accountant Heba Abd Al-Kader the Assistant Vice President of the Oil Authority for Foreign Trade.
