The signing of a number of agreements of understanding and agreements during the second day of the EGYPS 2022 Conference

His Excellency Engineer Tarek Al-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, witnessed the signing of a number of agreements during the second day of Egypt’s International Oil Exposition and Exposition, which included:

A service agreement between the Egyptian Petroleum Authority/Baker Hughes for cooperation in torch gas recovery and carbon emission reduction was signed by Geologist Alaa Al-Batal, CEO of the Egyptian Petroleum Authority, and engineer Tamir Nasser, general manager of Baker Hughes, Egypt.

Another agreement between the Egyptian General Petroleum Authority and Schneider Electric Egypt to cooperate to implement the Strategic Command Center project for the petroleum sector within the framework of the vision and plan of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for digital transformation.

Signed by Geologist Alaa Al-Batal, CEO of the Egyptian Petroleum Authority, and engineer Khalid Kamel, General Manager of Schneider.

The signing of an agreement between Enppi and Aspen Tech to cooperate in digital transformation by providing technical support in this area and providing sophisticated solutions for asset exploitation, as well as technical workshops and training programs.

The agreement was signed by engineer Mohamed Abd Al-Aziz, president of Enppi, and Antonio Bakri, president of Aspen Tech.

Another Agreement of understanding between the Egyptian General Petroleum Authority and the Egypt Maintenance Company and, Emerson for cooperation in tank level measurement, combustion emission control, and truckload measurement projects.

Signed by Geologist Alaa Al-Batal, CEO of the Egyptian Petroleum Authority, Engineer Ashraf Bahaa, Chairman of Sun Egypt, and Vidya Armans, Chairman of Amerson in the Middle East.

A signing of an Agreement between PAI (port of Antwerp Int) and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for the development of ports – exploring possibilities and pursuing projects in Egyptian ports and the maritime market, using Antwerp’s expertise in the promotion, management and operation of ports.

Signed for the Ministry by Engineer Alaa Al-Hagar, head of the Central Department of the Technical Bureau, and Christopher Water Schott, Director-General of the Antwerp Port Authority.

Multiple signings were made at EGYPS:

The first signing was made by Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co. of the polyethylene unit licensing agreement with Univision, and the signing of the steam fracking unit licensing agreement by Red Sea Co. with Linde, Signed the Hexen and Biotin licensing agreement with the French Axens.

The three agreements were signed by Engineer Mohamed Abady, CEO of Red Sea Co. with the heads of the three companies.

Agreement of understanding between the Egyptian petrochemical holding company and Wood to prepare a detailed feasibility study for the El Alamein petrochemical complex project in Egypt.

Signed by Alchemist Saad Hilal, head of any ECHEM, and Maxime Malé, the company’s Business Development Manager.

Anohter Agreement between the heads and officials of Enppi, Petrojet, Bechtel, Baker Hughes, General Electric, National Bank, and HSBC, aimed at reducing carbon emissions from oil and gas plants in Egypt.

An agreement between Petroleum Cooperation and Chevron Egypt for cooperation in the provision of oil, petrol plant activities, and trade in oil and chemical products.
