Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co. in EGYPS 2022

EGYPS is considered to be one of the most important events in the petroleum industry, a lot of different sectors companies “Technology, Services, Refining” companies become very interested in attending this event to sign contracts in mega projects such as Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co. in Egypt.

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek Al-Molla marked the importance of that the current version of the EGYPS Conference of how important in view of the fact that the current period required Egypt’s coordination and communication with all regional and international parties. 

He stressed that precautionary measures against the Corona pandemic would be applied as effectively and accurately as all recent successful regional and international events in the region to preserve the safety of participants.

The Conference witnessed the participation of 26,000 participants from different countries, 25 international and local oil companies, 73 panel discussions, 260 speakers, more than 1,900 representatives of companies, more than 450 exhibiting companies and 7 international pavilions in the exhibition.

This conference opens the door for multiple agreements and signings between several oil and technology industries which was a remarkable opportunity for Red Sea Co. to sign all the agreements, and get all the licenses needed to launch this project in the geographical space of the Main Development Company of the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

The conference took place from the 14th to the 16th of February 2022 and three main agreements were the main highlights of EGYPS for Red Sea National Petrochemicals Co.: 
– Polyethylene unit licensing agreement with Univision, 
– The signing of the steam fracking unit licensing agreement by Red Sea Co. with Linde
– Signed the Hexen and Biotin licensing agreement with the French Axens.

All three agreements were signed by Engineer Mohamed Abady, CEO of Red Sea Co. with the heads of the three companies.
